How do I go to the gym, run errands, and still look good enough to meet a girlfriend for lunch? This is one of the most common requests I get from my clients. What's the first step? Get out of your gym clothes! As tempting as it can be to wear them everyday while we run around town (especially for moms with young children) a few extra minutes and some closet preparation can go a long way. This is the first post in a three part series where I discuss casual dressing that doesn't break the bank. You can feel comfortable and look chic! 

Apres Gym - This is probably one of the hardest times to motivate ourselves to "get dressed". I know the feeling. You're so proud that you even made it to the gym amidst your packed day of grocery shopping,  school pick-ups, or running back to work. I always tell my clients to start with their accessories. If you're able to splurge this is where to do it and less is definitely more. Next, invest in a chic sneaker. This trend is a gift from the fashion gods! Designer sneakers and slides have been popular for a few years now and there are so many options out there at every price point. Lastly, purchase at least 5 go-to tops and sweaters that you love.
